CDTS were contracted to undertake the hydroseeding on a new stretch of railway which was effectively bypassed a bottle neck on the northern line at Stafford.
While it was only 4km of new track it provided us with some challenging work due to the depth of the cuts and due to site restrictions there wasn’t any topsoil to place on the slopes. Through consultation with the client we devised a methodology and seed mix which allowed us to hyodrseed directly onto the subsoil.
