CDTS were recommended to Coventry City Council as a company with the right credentials to undertake a program of annual flower seeding to various areas throughout Coventry. CDTS subsequently provided a comprehensive program from herbicide application, cultivation and hydroseeding to twenty different sites throughout the City, equating to approximately 22,000 m2. The sites ranged from roundabouts and central reservations, to open spaces and parkland.
CDTS specified an annual wildflower mix which would provide rapid colour and prolonged flowering throughout the year. While the initial dry spring slowed germination down, a vivid flowering meadow was admired from June to November by many thousands of people, with a great deal of positive feedback.
